Customer Reviews

Customer rating is 5 of 5  You have to pay for quality   2010-03-17
By Douglas D. Love (CA USA)
I have been though about five multimeters in the past 20 years. My Father was an electronics technician and had a wonderful Simpson meter which took a dive onto our garage floor one day. Since then I have been looking for a meter that could withstand real world abuse and not turn into a useless paperweight in my tool bag. This is that meter. While costing about twice as much as your Radio Shack model, the Fluke is solidly built and dead on accurate. The Fluke 115 has all of the functions I need to troubleshoot home and boat electrical systems without breaking the bank. If this meter lasts longer than five years, it will be worth the price. Sometimes paying more for quality up front saves you in the long run.
Customer rating is 5 of 5  Blows snap on out of the water   2010-01-11
By Dan R. Drilon (IL)
This meter is quite amazing... Ive always heard good things about fluke and have finally bought one. The last meter I have owned was a snap on meter which retailed around the same price. The 115 completely outperformed the snap on meter though. The refresh rate is much faster.. The gauge bar at the bottom is more smooth and flowing than the snap on meter. It has a very bright backlight which comes handy anytime your working on a car (which suprises me why the snap on one didnt have one). Then theres the feel.. The fluke sits in your hand perfectly and you can rotate between the settings with your thumb instead of dropping everything your holding just to switch it over. The meter also comes with lead holders on its backside which makes it easy to store.

Easy to read. Quick acting and easy to use. Excellent for use in the Electrical Service Industry. Readings taken do not interfere with equipment in operation which keeps customers happy and lets you get to the problem at hand. A very nice meter. I would defintely recommend to other service personnel.
